Near the gardens of Luxembourg and in the Mount Parnassus early artist district,  Académie de la Grande Chaumière (academy of the large thatched cottage) is a legendary atelier from the 19th century.   Delacroix, Manet, Cezanne, Gauguin, Modigliani, and Picasso all drew at the atelier along with many followers and students over the past 100 years.  The Paris Seminar is honored to be invited to paint in this historic location and will work daily the first week of September 2016 on its grounds and hallowed halls.

Open all year, for drawing and painting classes with open style, the Academy de la Grande Chaumiere welcomes students, artists, enthusiasts, as well as Paris from the art world and beyond.
